Dufferin Historical Museum held their WW1 Commemorative Tea on May 12, 2018. The Carman Legion Branch 18 Color Party attended. President Kyrke Nussey spoke about World War 1 and its devastation. Sandra Clark read a poem written by her 13 year granddaughter about Cecil Clark, her great grandfather, who was lost in WW1. Following the tea, a Couregeous Flowering Crabapple Tree was planted on the museum grounds to commemorate the day. Thank you to Aubin Nurseries for donating the tree. Thank you to everyone who participated in the event and to all the volunteers who helped make the day a success.
